How do I complete the NIH Activity Code field in Fibi?
When the sponsor for a proposal record is listed as the National Institute of Health (NIH), the NIH activity code must be input on the Other Information tab in the proposal record.
NIH is continually adding new activity codes. To find the list of all current NIH activity codes see the link below:
To find the appropriate Activity Code, look at the funding opportunity announcement and scroll down to the Activity Code or [CTRL F] and search for “activity code.”
To enter the code in the proposal record:
- Go to the Other Information tab.
- Go to the NIH Activity Code field.
- Enter the Activity Code found in the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).
